The Aloe Vera plant has a history of over 5,000 years as it is used in Ayurvedic medicines. In the past, it has been known by names such as healing plant, miracle plant and elixir of life.
The skin absorbs Aloe Vera up to 4 times faster than water and it acts as an excellent medium to carry active ingredients into the skin.
Aloe Vera is used for internal illnesses like cholesterol, inflammation, stomach disorders, intestinal disorders, enhancement of immune system and hemorrhoids. It also acts as a blood cleanser and a natural laxative.
Aloe Vera is helpful with external conditions like acne, scars, burns, frost bite, psoriasis, eczema, cold sores, hair loss and as an antibacterial agent to treat wounds or skin infections.
