Behada or Behara or Bibhitaki is a fruit that has been popular in traditional Indian medicine. It is used as an ingredient in various Ayurvedic medicines and is one of the 3 components used to make Triphala. The plant is found on plains and lower hilly areas of India and Southeast Asia.

Internally, Behada helps in treating heart problems, impotency, cough and cold, loss of appetite, digestive problems and helps in strengthening hair. Its antibacterial nature helps fight various infections and enhances immunity.
